St. Thomas Church - New York (NY)

Alberto Antonio, O.P. Possibly my favorite church in NYC. Famously frequented by Andy Warhol, St. Vincent Ferrer has relics, a chorus and is staffed by many caring and devout Dominicans that i met throughout my visits from teen to adulthood. There are relics and beautiful art to see, and you can pray Lauds and Vespers with the friars every day. A true sanctuary for all Christians and tourists of any faith to visit.

Kikelomo Amusa-Shonubi Lovely, intimate Episcopal service. Both the Rector and Assistant Rector are both women of color, which is very cool.

Kristen (Gypsy Monkey) Beautiful spot & love that they have a 5pm Saturday service . Enjoyed the sermon and patrons are friendly . Looking forward to returning soon

Chintan Desai Attended the Christmas Mass and it was a surreal experience. The hour long Mass was spectacular and the choir singing was super. The whole church was dark with plastic candle lights st the end when everyone sang silent nights. Simply a wonderful, spiritual experience. One should attend if you are around the city during Christmas

Our reality back at home is not. Some of us come from homes that are able to afford regular meals, while some of us do not know where the next meal will come from. Thank you again. Cooke Harvey Was there for a funeral but the clergy and helpers were extremely nice. Fun to chat with afterwards. The sermon was great and I can see why our dear departed enjoyed going there.

Dane Martel The most beautiful church Ive seen In a long time!!! Absolutely breathtaking architecture on the inside. Wonderful views and statues. Paintings and stain glass windows. Anyone can appreciate the beauty. Came for señor de los milagros. A peruvian saintday festival and had a great time. Its great to just come in and sit and close your eyes for a break. I used to go to fordham across the street and just pop by for a breather. Have fond memories. Theres no bathroom though which they could do.
