Small World Dental - Pediatric Dentist and Orthodontist - Staten Island (NY)

Ashley Gatti I have never been to a more well organized, clean, efficient dental office in my life. The staff is very personable and welcoming. Everyone is very kind and helpful. I love the TVs in the chairs, it such an awesome distraction ! I had imaging, a cleaning and then my exam with Dr Cisternas. My entire visit was very thorough and timely. I was in and out with all my questions answered and felt very well taken care of. I highly recommend this office and staff for any and all dental needs ! Finding a Dentist that you feel comfortable with is very hard to find. A really nice touch at the end of the visit is you’re given a warm face towel to get any extra little splatters from your cleaning off.

Aysha Naveed my sister has been going here for years so i switched over due to severe tooth pain I’ve been having. my mom scheduled the appt for me and once i got there we realized it was two weeks out. the receptionists are so so nice and still squeezed me in anyway - the entire staff was extremely efficient and super kind. the x ray tech explained to me what he was doing and warning me for discomfort before putting the bite piece in which I really appreciated. dentist was also super super efficient and took me seriously when I pointed out which tooth on the x rays was bothering me, and when I said I thought my wisdom teeth were coming in and bothering me. He recommended a root canal and had me schedule a follow up - all of that was done in under an hour and a half, great team all around. will update post next appts but honestly even from this first appt I can tell they’re definitely worth the 5 stars.

Dawn Santiago As usual… staff exceptionally competent and professional! Appointment time was right on target as well. Would highly recommend. Dr. Tarantino has been my family dentist for over twenty years! Can’t imagine going anywhere else!

Sherry Paige This office is professional , super clean , honest & makes you feel very comfortable. The staff is wonderful. The DDS is very nice & she is compassionate . I had what I thought was an emergency bc my gum in the back of my mouth was hurting & I had no idea why , I actually thought the worst of the worst & a piece of popcorn was stuck under my gum & was removed ( wouldn’t have tried that at home) . I highly reccomend this DDS !

Maria Lowe Dr. Gerts helped me get started with Invisalign, and it has been a really wonderful experience so far; Already, I can see my teeth straightening out, and the fit was perfect because of their 3D scanning; Dr. Gerts and his team made it all so seamless, and they were there for me through and through; Whoever wants to align their teeth without using braces should be coming here; As for me, I couldnt have been happier!

Angie I came to this office after 2 failed attempts for a root canal at 2 other offices on the island. Dr Rhee was the man who was able to start and complete the root canal on my daughter who suffers from severe Anxiety disorder. It does help that Dr Rhee knows how to administer the correct medicine and how to take his patients. Other doctors did not know how to add and were mean to her disorder and not compassionate. Not at this office. The ENTIRE staff from the front desk to his assistant were so kind and gentle. Words cannot express the gratitude I have for them and how they took care of my daughter. Hands down the best on the island. Thank you Dr Rhee, To the assistant and staff for going above and beyond.

Rosa Bompartito My first time here… Gabby is a wonderful hygienist! Caring, very gentle and patient. She totally understood how afraid I was of the dentist. I’m hoping she’ll be my hygienist for a long time :) Dr. Galligan Sr was very nice, very knowledgeable and friendly. Cathy at the front desk was so helpful and friendly. I highly recommend Dr. Galligan and his staff.
