Unfortunately, after many years of being a loyal customer and recommending this place, I can no longer in good consciousness give it a 5 star review, as the place has changed in their approach to cleanliness and customer service. When I first discovered this salon, I was impressed with how much attention was paid to hygiene. Before using tools, the nail techs would wipe them with alcohol pads to make sure theyre thoroughly disinfected. Unfortunately, this practice has since been abandoned, and the tools simply get placed in the sterilization machine, but given the number of customers, I dont think that proper amount of time passes for the sterilization to take place. In addition, the tools are stocked up on top of one another instead of being laid flat. The last time I received a pedicure, my nail got infected with fungus, which is proving very difficult to treat. The nail techs also used to be very consistent in their quality of service. Now, some seem to be more qualified and knowledgeable than others. The nail techs also stopped paying much attention to the customer service and often fail to ask if you want a massage setting to be turned on on your pedicure chair - its a small thing, but very telling of the declining customer satisfaction care. Also, the products seemed to be more high-end before, while now they seem to go for cheaper versions. The nail polishes are diluted with acetone, which leads to yellowing of the nails and them turning dry and brittle.
The prices are still very reasonable and the owner - Rita - is lovely and friendly. I just wish they went back to their original quality of care.
Its not the worst place as far as Asian salons go, but unfortunately, it is no longer the best.

The place does not offer much in terms of nail enhancements or designs, so if you are looking for nail art, I wouldnt recommend this salon. However, if you are looking for the best natural nail care, such as manicure and pedicure, this place is amazing and very clean! Their pedicure is by far the best Ive gotten in Brooklyn! I strongly recommend their special SPA pedicures, as they include skin treatments and a 10-minute massage. My personal favorite is the crystal gel pedicure. Rita, the owner, is very attentive and helpful and always remembers her customers preferences.
