1 /5 Natasha Durel: Really chaotic and rushed service. I asked for a french manicure and was told yes. I even had pictures and examples of what I was looking for. The woman I had was painting quickly and chatting and laughing with the tech next to her, which is fine, but in doing this she was creating really uneven lines and I had to be honest a few times and just politely correct and just advocate for what I wanted. They had a few people waiting so it was clear as to why she was zooming through it, and normally im fine with a quicker experience and less spa like, but the quality of the nails was compromised to a degree I had to speak up and now say this.
The man working the front came over and I had to show him my nails because she had only done one layer of the white to where the color was transparent, it was uneven, and you could see where the white streaked out of the design and she was saying she was finished.
They should have more upfront about who felt confident doing french nails because I ended up having to argue and deal with a confrontation energy with the man at the front and another nail tech who was unwilling to cooperate and step in to do it when I was just simply trying to explain what I wasnt happy with. I shouldnt even have to be in a position to have to argue on a service Im treating myself on.
The other nail tech did eventually step in after I had to be firm with all of them on what I needed taken care of and she then painted and simultaneously taught the one who originally was doing my nails. All three of them stood there awkwardly the rest of the time and at that point I was pissed off and just quiet. I still paid and tipped, but it was unpleasant, rude, and unprofessional.
