1 /5 Mateo Vélez: I have no complains about the mass section, it’s amazing and beautiful and very peaceful, however I do have concerns about the following.
1 - the director of the church school that’s in the office is very rude and has no professionalism at all. He started yelling at me and had the audacity to yank a book I was holding out of my hands when I was simply just asking questions I had about my younger brother.
2 - my younger brother and sister mentioned to me that when they go to church school classes or after school programs such as soccer, the bathrooms smell like weed and/or they themselves have seen some boys and girls vape within the church perimeter. My brother described an oil substance on a pen and I immediately knew what he was talking about.
First of all, it’s all different from my time when I went to church school and I understand that. I really loved this church. I have many good memories here. But this what I’m mainly concerned about is the safety of the kids that attend there. I know you need funds to raise for many things within the church or for the community, but please don’t neglect our children that are also part of this community. Their safety should also be important and they should know what’s right from what’s wrong or what can lead them through wrong paths because those in wrong paths get heavily judged by society and they don’t know that or don’t have a full knowledge because as parents, they also fail, but you shouldn’t fail us and should help us guide them.
