Queen of Peace Roman Catholic Church

Rosemary Forkin I attended the former Queen of Peace School from 3rd grade till graduation in 1970. It was a great school. I transferred there after we moved to Kew Garden Hills from Inwood in upper Manhattan where I attended St Jude from K-3rd grade. When mom passed in 2006 I was planning her funeral mass at Queen of Peace.Father Tighe told me the school had closed. Sad to hear. I made my confirmation there, attended Mass there and mom liked the church so we held her funeral mass there. It was always a beautiful church. One of my cousin’s atttended the school from 1st grade till graduation from 8th.
