Katina Zinsmeyer We absolutely love attending the church service at St. Sophia’s Greek Orthodox Church. Father David is an absolutely wonderful priest and person. His sermons always come from the heart and reflect real life situations. We were married this July by Father David. His message during our ceremony was that the engagement doesn’t end with marriage, it is just the beginning. That will forever resonate with us. We are so grateful for being a part of the church, volunteering when needed during the Greek Festival and events, and getting to know Father David and the parish. Thank you for all you do! Mark DeCew St Lucy had a service quite different than your typical catholic mass. The vibe is quite informal. And personally friendly. The stained glass windows tower to the very high ceiling. There are no kneeling pads and and seats are mixed with pews. There was a band in the front behind the altar and they had coffee after mass.
