What Clients Are Saying St. Lucy Catholic Church (GG)
5 /5 Mark DeCew: St Lucy had a service quite different than your typical catholic mass. The vibe is quite informal. And personally friendly. The stained glass windows tower to the very high ceiling. There are no kneeling pads and and seats are mixed with pews. There was a band in the front behind the altar and they had coffee after mass.
1 /5 Ryan H: May we most humbly beseech Almighty God to remove the evil that has overshadowed this once great parish, at the hands of the clergy and staff. Words cannot express the sadness for the ruin that has befallen a dwelling place of our Lord. Never in my life have I prayed for a Church to be closed by the Diocese - or frankly, even Rome - until witnessing what has become of St. Lucys. The irreverence and insanity promoted within will surely lead many to eternal damnation. My last hope is that things have somehow changed in the last couple years without my knowledge. If not, I cannot possibly imagine setting foot in the same zipcode again.
5 /5 Elk Hunter: Fabulous local Catholic church in downtown neighborhood. Very friendly congregation , lovely people. A beautiful, historic architectural masterpiece, beautiful brick exterior, well maintained. Inside is stellar with room for a couple hundred people. A shrine to Native American Saint , beautiful. Worth a visit. Parking is limited so arrive early
1 /5 Matthew Layton: St. Lucys is the Diocese of Syracuses far leftist parish. It is great that the parishioners of St. Lucys reach out and seek to support the poor and disadvantaged, but unfortunately this place has a widely-known reputation of not aligning with Church teaching when it comes to theological and liturgical matters. Avoid at all costs if you value your soul!
Victoria Hockenbery I was born and raised in this church and have always loved the family atmosphere I find when I am there. Everyone is so friendly to visitors and very welcoming. The people here are genuine, hardworking Christians who really do "practice what they preach." Its a dry church (no alcohol) and they dont pass a basket under your nose every service looking to "fleece you for money." Its a great place for anyone looking for a place to be part of a faith based home that wants Jesus at the center of it all.
Giovanni Givenchy Church is open to all walks of life. I was here volunteering for ACR Healths No Hitch Luncheon, its hosted here every second and fourth Tuesday each month. Free meal served and open to anyone that would benefit from a hot meal. Please visit us.
Carol Fisher First Saturday Mass with the Anointing the Sick. 12:10 Daily Mass. We travel wherever Mass is celebrated. They dont call us Romin Catholics for nothing!
Emily Teeter I am so thankful to find such an accepting, kind, and safe church after moving out to Syracuse for school! This church aligns with my values more than any others I have visited.
Lily Eturnal This is a beautiful and energetic church. I canβt get over how lovely and peaceful it is here. I definitely intend to come back. There is a lot to do here. Opportunities for outreach. Very family and children friendly. Large congregation and amazing worship team. Very impressive. They even have an app you can use to get involved and stay informed with the church activities and events.
