2 /5 DR Turner: I am new to the area. I wanted great bible filled church with fellowship. I walked in the door 30 minutes bf service began. I could not find anyone to greet me. I walked around trying to find out how all this worked. No one. There was a lot of commotion, but no one seemed interested that I looked lost. I sat down for a while, then began walking around again and found a host station. I introduced myself, informed her I was new to the area. Not one word of welcome, etc....she directed me to a double door. Stated that the doors will open soon and I could go into the auditorium and find a seat. (Very cold) Not one person came over to me or greeted me. I stayed, even though I found the entire church unwelcoming. The music was to my surprise pretty good, even though it was so loud you could not hear the words from the praise and worship team. Thank God, the words were on the screen. The praise and worship felt rushed, which did not allow the spirit to move. To my surprise, the pastor ministered, apparently from a screen. Im assuming he was the main pastor, as there was really no communication to that affect. Message was good, the reason for the 2 stars, however I felt no spiritual connection or presence as the entire service was cold, rushed and unwelcoming. I did not feel as though I had been at a church service. So much for looking for fellowship. Typical Mega Church experience.
