5 /5 Anne Shaver: Father David is a nice person. The mass was very moving and enjoyed hearing about the word. I hope peace comes quickly to everyone in the world. The church is beautiful inside. The peace and quiet is beautiful as well.
5 /5 Kevin Lucero: Just a beautiful peaceful place.
5 /5 Nicholas Petrillo: A restful and rejuvenating stop on our way to Vermont. A beautiful Cathedral, and a very easy place to pray. There are some stained glass windows with scenes/images I am not used to which is terrific.
5 /5 Augusto Paulino: Visit the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception even for just the architecture. Colorful stained glass windows are present throughout.
5 /5 Patti Nichols: A rare Gothic style cathedral here in the US. Almost life-size Stations of the Cross. Just magnificent!

Julie Gulick Victory always is doing outreachs, gun buybacks, just gave out Easter baskets to girls & boys homes, same for Christmas. Victorys congregation is always willing to help with anything that deals w/homeless & hungry. Wonderful church!
Rob D Beautiful sermons, beautiful church, fantastic chior, these guys go above and beyond to make new comers feel welcome.
There is a real community within.
Lauren Williams This is a church of the community, and I can appreciate that.
New to the area, went to Sunday morning 10am service, and I felt like I left as a member of the family, fulfilled. Choir sang beautifully, and the preacher had a good message! I’ve since been back to visit, and experienced the same.
Renee Malo My husband and I have been going to Capital Church for 8 years. It is a warm and friendly church that does many good works in our community and across the globe. Every Sunday, Dr. J shares wisdom and lessons from the Bible that feed the soul. The church has just moved to 1222 Troy-Schenectady Rd (the old Martin Harding and Mazzoti building). Give it a try it might just be the church for you too.
Christine Harvey Yes the Greek festival here is amazing but dont forget - this is a church. The people at the church are warm, friendly, welcoming. Father Pat can connect with you on a level many priests just cant. He is a huge blessing to the church. The services are wonderful, great choir too. Its a place to connect with God and feel part of a great community -even if youre not Greek.
Stephanie D Wonderful congregation with an incredibly talented choir. Visited during my stay in Albany, everyone is so welcoming. Highly recommend stopping for Sunday service if you’re in town.
Jon Shannon If youre looking for a friendly, lively, nonjudgmental positive faith based christian experience then go to Saint Joan of Arc. Father Kafi is truly a leader of the Catholic community. I recommend this church highly.
The Tourist Trip This place has been a beacon to the city of Albany showing others what loving your community and neighbors looks like in the most simple and practical ways. I found these guys through a Serve Albany brochure at a local coffee shop. They have been bringing together volunteers to serve this city through different non profit partners. I have found this place to be a open, welcome and safe space to explore my in faith tradition with others who are seeking a God far beyond the feeble limitations of our collective understanding and knowledge. Shout out to Jon, the pastor, who has assisted in helping shape this vision.
