4 /5 Melody: Was recommended by a friend to come here and try their wax service. I enjoy getting my arms waxed, it doesn’t hurt at all and it’s painless. However, I got a Brazilian wax the first time and although I was awkward the staff was friendly. It didn’t feel rushed which I genuinely appreciated. The second time was surprising because although I did choose a different staff member, I didn’t expect the wax to be applied kinda hot. Im sad to say but there was wax residue on my poor labia. I would probably stick to waxing my arms but I appreciate the friendly service and hospitality!

I came across the place after many searches with trying to find a places that was in the Bronx Area, and specialized in Russian Manicures. I was excitedly surprised that they also provided a speciality in Eyebrows .. so I gave it a shot. I came this morning for a 9.30am appointment and had scheduled myself for a Nail Extension Gel builder, An intensive Pedicure and an Eyebrow Consultation. I must say Jossey the technician was through, delicate, and patient with my confusion, my nervousness about the neglect caused to my feet and though there were a cut or two .. it was not her fault , it was due to my abrasive skin… she took care of my skin effortlessly, and with caution so it wouldn’t burn or be irritated. When it came to nails there was some confusion due to what I actually was looking for and the owner Ms. Ely who introduced herself when I first came in , sat with me for clarification of what I was envisioning and we worked together to make it happen. I appreciated her presence and participation in my process and especially her expertise. The nail industry has its own language! ;) and I am not the professional! They offered me a Mimosa and though I don’t drink. They also offered water, tea, coffee and a sweet several times. It felt oddly nice to be thought of. :) I then went to meet with Ms. Ely for a consultation in regards to my eyebrows and was instantly in love with the simulation. She provided me a step by step process and called me beautiful. I will be returning in 3 wks for a follow up of my nails and feet and definitely will be scheduling my eyebrows session. I truly hope I found an establishment that I can build a relationship with. Thank you so much for your service. I truly recommend this place. Your work was thoughtful. 5 /5 Melissa Rodriguez: Where do I start…. My first service with Ely at le chalán was in 2012 and listen can’t NOBODY do my eyebrows the way she does. The time and dedication that she takes on your brows makes it a masterpiece her hands are God’s gift to us, her formation and mapping to fit your face is what makes me fall in love with her work and keeps me coming back!! I truly don’t care how much I have to pay just to have her work on my brows, now ladies you know our brows make our face! Not just brows, throughout the years I’ve also gotten facials. I used to have bad acne but not anymore my skin has cleared and my blemishes are gone. She has also serviced me with lip blushing. Yes lip blushing, I was super nervous but Ely made me feel so comfortable and also relaxed, her confidence, knowledge and experience of what she was doing made me feel relax. It was a smooth service minor discomfort and in 4 weeks I was back for my touch up. At LeChalan I also get my individual lashes done by Taylor who is also experienced and slays my wispy set EVERYTIME!!!! I love getting pampered here!! Lady’s trust me when I say you won’t regret coming here!!

Ely, CEO , is absolutely amazing at what she does. it’s an art for her she absolutely enjoys what she does. primarily it’s always prioritizing the clients and ensuring an exceptional experience catering to our needs and paying special attention to detail. they take their time and always welcoming and warm. Surkary is amazing, she’s new it’s my first time with her but she is warm, gentle, welcoming, fun and a perfectionist , paying special attention to all details. she prioritizes perfection and definitely enjoys her craft!
