Bradley Hansen Great shop full of kind, hardworking people. They aren’t looking to pull one over on you and operate on good will. A colleague from Buffalo’s had a car issue when she arrived in Albany but she needed to go home that night. Despite how busy they were, they showed compassion and repaired her car within a few short hours. She got home safe.

Erin Kimberly Needed emergent help in November, my water pump needed to be replaced and all my coolant had leaked out. They got me in the next day, and had my car back to me within 2 days even with having to special order my parts. I moved out of that neighborhood but continue to go for my regular oil changes and services. They have fair pricing, they dont spring unnecessary repairs on you and are very transparent. I have had a lot of difficulties finding quality, dependable mechanics I the past who didnt try to over charge or over suggest things. I trust Berdars and appreciate the way they do business. Tim Howk I have always brought both my RVs to these guys for inspections and repairs. They always treated me fairly. Today was no different. I brought my RV in for an inspection. She made it out without any issues. My appointment was at 8:00. They took me in at 8:00 as I was on the road by 9:00. Great job guys! Thank you!

Hanan Tahir Really helpful and great people, had a great experience. My car needed the rear brake line replaced everything was done on time and exceptionally well. They communicated along the entire process. Definitely will come here for all my mechanical needs. Recommend them to everyone.

Vince Boccanfuso I highly recommend Hackels garage in Albany for any VW or Audi service. They are the only shop dedicated to VW/Audi in the NY Capital District. I brought my very high mileage GTI in to have the rear main seal replaced in hopes of fixing a lean running and multiple misfire condition. Bobby Hackel worked on my car and did an excellent job. Its a very labor intensive procedure that requires transmission removal that many garages wont even do. Bobby communicated progress to me over the few days that it took and even texted me a picture of the bad seal. He returned to me a perfectly running car for a very reasonable price. I especially appreciate that Bobby was recovering from a pretty bad illness while working on my vehicle. I cant recommend this shop enough. They have been open and family run for over 50 years and eat, sleep and breath VW!
