2 /5 Genesis Matile: I don’t usually like to leave bad reviews for salons but I went here 7/9/23 only because my usual nail place was closed and I needed a new ANC set for my birthday trip, the guy doing my nails kept filing the ANC when it wasn’t cured yet and ended up putting five coats on my nails. The cuticle area on my left thumb was also bleeding by the time I left. I’m a cosmetologist who learned ANC with a system very similar to what they use there and ended up leaving before the guy could finish bc he was taking chunks out of the nails. I left with super porous and bumpy nails after over an hour and a half of being there. My fingers are also covered in nail glue from him putting a ton of glue under the nail tips and on the underside of my nails. Didn’t even wash off the powder or let him do a top coat, I just paid $40 and left. Very friendly staff and clean salon, and other women were leaving with amazing nails from other techs- if you do go just don’t get your ANC done by the guy, he doesn’t seem to understand how dip powder systems work.

1 /5 Maria Guay: Just left and they seriously charged me 130 for 2 manicures and pedicures when they’re sign said 45, it should have came to 90! My two 13 year olds said regular polish to the lady’s a god 8 times and they acted like they couldn’t understand English, my girls also said they used google translate to communicate with them and heard them talking bad about her legs not being shaved! Again they are 13!! Nail polish is all over, the girls could have done a better job.

1 /5 TAURUS 39: I tried not to boil it down to raciality if I can use that English .I tried over and over to over look this but I had to conclude,theyre very racial to a black person, they tossed me around to who I wanted to have my nails done,they did the opposite of what I had wanted and collected same price with what I had wanted for acrylic, they never owned up and said sorry, I was very embarrassed, it wasnt the first time, I would never go back

1 /5 Bridgette Duffy: First time going even after reading bad reviews, thought I would give them the benefit of the doubt..first time ever leaving a review myself may I add.. so I requested ANC French. I like to wear my nails short, always have, and have never had an issue with French style due to my natural short nails. Half-way through manicure (Emily, the owner I believe) had me putting my nails under UV light, at this time, I questioned that this wasn’t ANC… she mumbled something and said “no it’s gel” That’s not what I requested, but I just went with it and looking back shouldn’t have. ( I don’t return the wrong meal if given to me in a restaurant lol lol) anywho at the end she said I was all done l, but left chunks of what felt like glue on the outer parts of every.single.finger. I was charged over fifty dollars. A few weeks passed and I was due for another manicure, so went to another salon where they filled me in on that Happy Nails had applied “liquid gel” thicker than normal gel annnnd badddaaa booom! Fifteen dollars more expensive. I was not told what I was getting nor (again) was it even what I asked for .. needless to say, even though close to my house, I will not being going back.
