I booked an appointment at The Best Little Hair House in Brooklyn with Kate, who I had never worked with before, and I couldnt be happier with the outcome! She did an amazing job, giving me such a cute cut that fits perfectly into this low-maintenance phase of my life. Its incredible what a good haircut can do for your mood and self-esteem! The salon itself is absolutely adorable, with such amazing vibes. Victoria, the owner, is incredibly welcoming and fun, making the whole experience even better. If youre looking for a fresh look and a positive atmosphere, I highly recommend this place!

Lily Ji Visiting the salon after researching the business for sometime seeing a lot of negative reviews but still giving it a try and I’m so happy I did. Shawanda was the best. She is personable and very much talented. She educated me on what I needed to do to get my hair as healthy as I wanted. Her question to me was “what are your hair goals?” No stylist I’ve ever met has ever asked me that question. I’m so happy with my hair. I received a sew basic install which was discounted for the day and time I booked a trim and hair steam. I have to say I was surprised about how quick I was done

Tatiana Enii I had the best experience at Sophistique the other day. Loved “Absolute Happiness” treatment, I instantly felt my hair was hydrated and nourished. Will definitely come back in a few months for the same treatment. Highly recommend!

courtney lawrence This is a long overdue review. I just moved to the city full time and had been looking for a place to redo my keratin treatment. Saw great reviews about this place and it did not disappoint. Angela was inspecting my hair type and gave her recommendation of doing the protein based treatment over the keratin. However, I was a little concerned as I had never done this before but then she allowed me the time to do research and think about the differences and did not pressure me to choose her recommendation. Additionally, Esther who is a part of her team also inspected my hair for a second opinion and had done both the keratin and protein treatments on her hair which gave me comfort if I decided to ever switch back to keratin treatments. All in all I decided to go with the protein treatment and I do not regret it. My hair was been so much easier to blow dry and maintain. I was also not pressured to buy any products from them but was given samples in the event I wanted to. Getting hair treatments like this in NY is definitely pricey but I will 100% be going back to get my hair done hair as the experience and quality were superb.

Lisa Shaub I just moved to the neighborhood and was doing research to find a new salon to get my hair cut. All the reviews were so positive so I gave Salon De Larue a try. And I had a lovely experience. The atmosphere was warm and friendly. Even the other clients sitting in the other chairs were delightful. Luba cut my hair. She did a wonderful job. I have received so many compliments this week. I enjoyed every aspect of the experience. I will definitely be back!!

Carla Nassy Great service for my daughter and myself getting treatments followed by blowouts. Highly recommend for girls with 4 type hair, even for deep conditioning and styling without a treatment. So happy to have this salon in park slope.
