CITY CHURCH - albany
Terri Rice I look for excellent teaching and strong community in a church and found both here at City Church. Every week I am blessed by a clear word from scripture. There is time to get to know others on Sunday, but the best way is through the various community groups. Here is where you begin to see the church in action. Loving each other and together, loving the surrounding community. So happy God has placed us at City Church!

St. Pauls Episcopal Church - albany
Jeremiah Williamson St. Pauls is a great church for the whole family. They have an excellent music program and a beautiful Sunday service. Also they are a tremendously inclusive and welcoming congregation.

Capital Church
Renee Malo My husband and I have been going to Capital Church for 8 years. It is a warm and friendly church that does many good works in our community and across the globe. Every Sunday, Dr. J shares wisdom and lessons from the Bible that feed the soul. The church has just moved to 1222 Troy-Schenectady Rd (the old Martin Harding and Mazzoti building). Give it a try it might just be the church for you too.

Metropolitan Baptist Church
Lakeia Madison Weve visited twice and enjoyed the service. Each time, there was a guest minister bringing the Word. We were greeted warmly by folks in the hall. I wouldnt call them greeters because they were standing at the front door or sanctuary door. The second visit, we actually heard the choir, and they were really nice. My spouse loves that the service is quick. Lol. Growing up, COGIC I try to be sensitive to research the church before we attend. Lord, help us :) The first service was maybe 1.5 hours and the second 2 hours.

McKownville United Methodist Church
Ross Sudeep (TamilRascal) Attended their service this morning, which was led by the older kids of the congregation - their spirit and enthusiasm was wonderful! Folks were extremely friendly after the service, which is always nice when youre the new person at a church. Hope to return, and see if this will be a good fit for me. Thank you to all who welcomed us this morning!
