I was always well cared for.
Since Dr.Vounus retired, I was placed with Parth Patel. I just happen to be reviewing my Humana Medicare coverage from there I reviewed the most recent claims under review.
I read that Parth Patel had been in review for a $250 claim dated 02/01/2023 my last office visit. It was a quick visit just to discuss medications. I was curious about that charge so I went to Auburn Primary care & asked the receptionist for a copy of his last office note with me.
I was shocked! He document a full physical! Documented that he listened to my lungs and they were clear bilaterally he documented that he palpated my abdomen and it was soft and non tender, pedal pulses present x2, that I do not wear corrective lenses when I had them on each time and every time I had office visit, and so much more he documented that was completely false, he documented all the findings that one would expect after having a complete physical.
Truth of that visit February 1st 2023 is, he entered the exam room, sat in a chair and we discussed my medications then he exited the room.
He committed fraud, and I reported all of it to my insurance company and to government website regarding doctors that bill Medicare for services not rendered. An investigation is underway.
What an insult and he calls himself a professional. I reported this to the practice manager, I was told I would be hearing from the administrators above her, still waiting.
