Lily Ji Visiting the salon after researching the business for sometime seeing a lot of negative reviews but still giving it a try and I’m so happy I did. Shawanda was the best. She is personable and very much talented. She educated me on what I needed to do to get my hair as healthy as I wanted. Her question to me was “what are your hair goals?” No stylist I’ve ever met has ever asked me that question. I’m so happy with my hair. I received a sew basic install which was discounted for the day and time I booked a trim and hair steam. I have to say I was surprised about how quick I was done

Bohemian Soul Natural Hair Salon in Brooklyn NY
Shakeema Buchanan I had my 1st appointment at Bohemian Soul today and it was amazing. The aesthetic of the salon is vibrant and welcoming.The price of the services are also very reasonable. My services included a wash, treatment, trim and medium two strand twist. Deitra gave me a friendly and warm welcome to her salon. Her energy made me feel completely at ease and I instantly knew I would be in good hands. Dietra was gentle and precise which resulted in my beyond satisfaction of the finished style. I was nervous I would leave with much of my hair chopped off but Dietra trimmed my hair which left me with length retention. I would gladly recommend Bohemian Soul.

Nancy V I’ve had Martha as my hair stylist for over 10 years at this point, so when I found out she began working at this location, I made sure to follow her here! She’s just THAT good. I have not had anyone touch my hair since I met her. She’s cared for my hair through every shade of my Blonde era into my brown, back to my blonde. As well as every length. Until now, with growing out my natural color & helping me revive my curls (I struggle staying away from heat). I usually leave my appointments with a blow out, which I LOVE how she does them and would usually book with her just for that. But at my latest appointment, I left with my hair curled which we have never done before! Since then my curls have slowly been coming back beautifully. I am so grateful for Martha & recommend her to anyone who ever needs an honest & reliable hair stylist who won’t feed you any unrealistic expectations on your hair journey! I will be adding a few pictures I have of the shades and lengths we’ve done.

Daryl Diawara I had an amazing experience at HairstylesbyK! K, the stylist, did an incredible job with my braids, creating a beautiful design that matched the exact model I showed her. The other stylists were also punctual and took their time to wash, dry, and detangle my hair without causing any pain (I’m very sensitive when it comes to this, and it’s the first time I’ve had so little discomfort while getting cornrows). Brittany Sandoval Ariana is the best. She did exactly what I had in mind and taught me about my hair and how to simplify my hair routine and use the products. She is extremely knowledgeable and is also super sweet and really easy to talk to. She really paid attention to the details of my haircut, and made sure I was comfortable throughout the whole visit. Kate Detrick I never write reviews - very occasionally you have an experience with a vendor that restores your faith in humanity and this is that for me. I had a miscommunication with my stylist (who’s a lovely person) re a cut and color which was very distressing. The general manager Gloria reached out to me and insisted she fix it personally. I had the best time with her at my correction appointment - she’s a kind, thoughtful, down to earth person who has the traits of a true leader, and has created a hair salon environment that feels like a community. And my hair looks amazing now. Stylists are knowledgeable and talented, and good people to boot.
