1 /5 Jordan Delosh: I have had the absolute worst experience with this insurance company. Let me start by saying I am not insured by them, however a person/vehicle the cover backed into my PARKED truck. The claim was reported the next business day (accident happened on a Sunday, Monday was a holiday). Travelers never contacted me, I waited a little over a week, and reached out to them. They stated that I did not hear from due to the date of the incident was recorded with the wrong year, 2024 rather than 2025. During this time I had already obtained a quote from the repair shop that will be doing the work, which came out to be approximately 6k. I submitted photos of the damage via travelers link that sent to me, as well as a video of the damages. When they returned their quote it was $1600 dollars less and listed all after market parts, my body shop listed OEM. When I reached out to travelers to express that I would appreciate it OEM parts, they responded with we do not do that your truck is 6 years old, but also stated they would return the truck to “pre loss condition”. Before the truck was hit it was equipped with all OEM parts. I went as far as talking with the manager who stated that their isn’t an insurance company out there that installs OEM parts on a vehicle older than 1 year. I contacted my carrier, GEICO who stated that, that is untrue, they just don’t wanna pay the difference. $1600!! To me due to the fact that my truck was parked on auto start, with the lights on and I was not even in it, their customer backed into it and caused significant damage to the front end. We are talking front fender, headlight, top and bottom bumper pieces, as well as the bumper. My truck was hit so hard it was moved about a foot, so I also requested an alignment and tires due to the fact that they will not supply a loaner until my body shop can fit me in. I do not feel I am being unreasonable at all.. please correct me if I am. Thank you
