5 /5 Matthew Caruthers: Im new to the area and only here for a short time working for Mayo. But As someone who’s been on the road for nearly a decade and trained in over 20 gyms across the country, I don’t say this lightly: this place is top-tier. It’s built for the serious lifters—the meatheads, grinders, and athletes who know their way around a squat rack—but still manages to welcome newcomers without watering anything down.
The owner? Gets it. No fluff, no corporate nonsense, no catering to the “selfie and sip a smoothie” crowd. This gym is about work. They run it with honesty, clarity, and a refreshing dose of check your feelings at the door. And yet, there’s still respect—mutual, earned, and damn near sacred. When gym owners respect their clients, those clients take pride in the space. And it shows here.
The decor? Clean, sharp, no BS. It strikes a perfect balance—elegant enough to feel like you’re somewhere intentional, gritty enough to remind you that blood, sweat, and tears are welcome companions in this place.
This isn’t just a gym. It’s a training ground for people who want more from their workouts and the environment they do it in. Hands down one of the best I’ve stepped foot in.
