Joshua Holder The Training Factory is an excellent gym that covers all-around training needs. Having trained at many powerlifting gyms with high-level equipment such as Texas Power Bars, Rogue, and Eleiko, I can confidently say the Training Factory provides access to all of these top-tier names. The environment is welcoming allowing members to train however they prefer without judgment. The facility is consistently clean, well-maintained, and organized, which makes every session more enjoyable. Management is also attentive and dependable, ensuring the gym runs smoothly.

julian miller I’ve been going to crunch since opening day, and don’t plan on going elsewhere. It’s the gym I recommend to anyone who’s working out at a PF, or looking for more variety in their training. I’ve always liked that they not only have all the free weights, and machines you need, but they also places for cardio, HIIT and stretching. My biggest complaint is machine maintenance, and crowding (which I believe will be resolved with their new expansion). Although most of the machines work consistently, there are always a couple broken cables. I do blame the users rather than the gym, but with cables being the most versatile equipment in the gym, it’s annoying when I have to check if the open cable is actually working; stuck in place, stuck at a weight or doesn’t move smoothly. I understand maintaining equipment with as many members as they have is difficult, but it would be nice to have things fixed in a timely manner. And to touch on crowding: I’m someone who wants to do my workout and leave. I have found if you go during the day, or in the evening you can just about count on having to wait for the machine, bench, squat rack, weight, or space to workout. Because of this I go either early in the morning or late at night. As I had said previously, I do believe that their expansion will help a lot with the crowding and I look forward to its opening. Lastly the staff: In my time there I have seen many employees and trainers come and go. I have never had any issues with their staffing and I believe they all do a great job. P.s. shout out to the good lighting and the gym buddies I’ve made there!

Sophie Montesanti Best yoga studio in Michigan! Ive been in and out of the area, and going to Yoga State for years, and no other studio in Michigan is doing what YS is doing. Teachers are welcoming and encouraging, classes are fun and challenging, the studios themselves are gorgeous and the owner Jen has clearly put her whole heart and soul into this place. Great place to take classes if youre experienced or to try hot yoga for the first time. Definitely the place if you want to build a yoga practice, feel better, and find a welcoming community.

Barbara Hranilovich Its been over 16 years since I started Pilates with Nahnie Barberio, starting at age 55. Every time I go (twice a week) I know Im giving myself a gift. As Im getting older, its crucial to stay strong, flexible, and steady on my feet. Pilates covers it all. Nahnies approach is true to traditional Pilates, and comes with a discipline and ongoing fine-tuning that she keeps interesting after all these years. We students enjoy each other and are supportive and take the work seriously. Nahnie sets a high bar, but also makes it fun. Shes attentive to each and every students needs, body type, and abilities. Shes encouraging and watches out for us, knowing that doing routines correctly and with supervision prevents injury. She makes us want to rise to the occasion. I sometimes cant believe the things my body can do now. Thanks, Nahnie! You are truly a gem!

Marie Watson I cannot say enough good things about this studio. I have traveled and been to a fair number of yoga studios and this one is just a gem. I have never taken a bad class here. All the instructors are accommodating and welcoming. You will feel refreshed, challenged, and like you returned to yourself with their heated classes.

andrew sheldon Easy access, friendly people excellent venue. Historic building with modern amenities. We went to watch womens gymnastics a few times now. Ample seating and not a bad view anywhere in the building. General seating ticket allow you to travel about the venue and get up close views at each event. Clean bathrooms. Wheelchair accessible.

Owen Jorgensen The thing that stood out about Kirk during my time training with him is his attention to detail. You can tell he cares about his clients’ goals and wants to do everything he can to help them reach those goals. Outside of his knowledge for training and recovery, you can tell Kirk likes spending time with his clients and wants to make working out something they look forward to. If you are looking for a trainer who will make sure you are staying consistent, will push to get the best out of you, and also have some fun while you’re training, I would recommend Kirk.

Liz Cotto I’ve been going to Nitro for about 3 weeks now and I absolutely love it! I was very hesitant at first, but felt right at home the moment I walked in. Coach Sam is awesome and she truly cares about your story and unique goals. She takes time during each work out to explain the movements thoroughly and makes suggestions for improvement. Nitro is so much more than a Crossfit gym- it’s truly a community of people who want to better themselves and support each other’s journeys along the way. It’s one of the best decisions I’ve made and cannot recommend Nitro enough!
