Live Oak Community Church - Alexandria (LA)

Betty White I have lived in Alexandria for a couple of years and have chosen Word Christian Church as my new home of worship. I enjoy the teaching of Pastor Greg Texada because I really need teaching rather than someone stating their worldly views upon me. I want to know what God says and I want it explained to me the meaning of what God is saying in order for me to learn and follow Gods word His will and His way so this is what Im getting from Pastor Texadas church. The world is living in chaos and if seems as if many dont care about how we should be living so I pray for all of our souls because the end can come any day and I want us to be ready.

Ms. Cynthia I attended the Annual Family Christmas Celebration. A wonderful time was had by all. The dinner was fabulous.

Ken Cockhera The church is amazing!! The people were very compassionate and caring. The praise & worship was outstanding!! Another highlight is their Senior Pastor address issues outside of the norm. If are visiting the Alexandria area, this is the church I would recommend:)

Ernest Woodmansee I enjoy the Wednesday Compline service provided by Fr. Snow on Facebook. It is a perfect service for me.

Princella Rue I have only been here for my family funerals and so far it has been 3...this is their Church but, the Elders of my family were members here also but, I was too young to remember. I have met some pleasant people and groups upon coming here and have been invited to be a part of them so that was very welcoming.

Matthew Anderson Saucier Beautiful church, good music, great services, and fantastic parishioners! It feels like you are part of a big family on your first visit. The school is also great, many friends have their children attending the school. I hear great things about the education program. If you are looking for an inclusive, loving, church home please consider this church!

Nelson Washington First of all,, me and my little one felt safe physically. Second the compassion of the staff was so warm and courteous. The activities that were planned for us succeeded our expectations. To top it off, my little one won a $50 gift card in one of the family games. He and I enjoyed a movie night together. Thank you Calvary Baptist Church.
