3 /5 Stephen Schroeder: I’ve been to Necker’s several times over the past few years and always had great customer service from knowledgeable staff. Today I took my wife’s ring there to be cleaned and had a very poor experience. Granted, my wife’s ring was not purchased from them, I went in with the intention to have her ring cleaned and purchase a new band from them. Frankly, I’m not sure that the ring was cleaned, as fast as it was done. I asked for a receipt or proof of the cleaning, for our insurance policy. I even explained that I was willing to pay for the cleaning, even though they are free. They refused to provide a receipt of any kind or proof of the cleaning. My daughter excitedly looked through the store, hoping to help me pick out the new band. The ring was brought back out and the individual then said “bye” and walked away without asking us if there was anything else they could help us with. At that point, my daughter and I left. As a whole, the staff were beyond rude and dismissive. I don’t typically write reviews, but this felt necessary. I’m not sure what’s happened since they moved into their new building, but today caused me to have a bad taste in my mouth. I hope they can get things figured out to avoid other customers also having a negative experience.
