5 /5 Alana Sampson: I went here for the first time a couple days ago and had a great experience! My friend made us an appointment and they were ready for all 3 of us when we got there. We didn’t have to wait at all which has been the case at lots of other nail salons I’ve been to. The salon was cleaned and peaceful. I got dip powder and the color selection was the best I’ve ever seen!!! They had so many to choose from with a variety of different shades. I also got a normal pedicure which was relaxing. With the two services I was in and out in just a little over an hour. I appreciated that they were fast, but they didn’t rush or sacrifice quality. I paid $108 for both services after tip which I think is in line with prices at other salons I’ve gone to. The staff was also very friendly which I also thought made them stand out from other nail salons. Overall I’d give this first time experience a 10/10. I don’t live close to Nail Spa On State but I’ll definitely make the 25 minute walk again to return!

1 /5 Liz Alfaro: If I could give it less than one star, I would. I went on Thursday, literally two days ago because it was my only free day until the day of the event I wanted to get my nails done for. Friday I was busy with my job and Saturday was the event. I told them I wanted gel nails, but instead they gave me these cheap flimsy press-on nails and charged me $75 for them. I kept telling myself to trust the process, that they were professionals, and it was probably my fault if I didnt explain myself well. I was horribly wrong. They literally just glued the nail, and painted over it. The next day at work, one literally just popped off. I dont do any manual labor, nor did I get it wedge in something. It just came loose and fell off. I was so upset because these were $75! I wanted to cry, but its not like I could drop everything and go tell them. On my way back home later that night, I passed by Walgreens to get some nail glue. Today at the event, not even halfway through it, I look down at my hand and my pinky nail was completely gone! It looks like a combination of lazy work and cheap materials that definitely was not worth $75. Save your time and money, there are plenty of other nail salons in Chicago.

5 /5 JVJ Burton: Wonderful! This salon came very highly recommended by the Concierge at a local hotel. The pedicure was terrific and the full acrylic set is just amazing! Kevin is great, and the ambience is cozy and friendly. I will definitely return when back in Chicago.

4 /5 Lexi Lebron: I come here every couple of weeks to get my nails done. They have a really great dip and no chip variety of colors. They last from 1-2 weeks if you’re like me and work a lot with your hands, but overall long lasting. If they’re busy they will let you know that you will have to wait a bit, but if you go during their low hours you’ll be taken care of right away. Really nice artists and fast service. This is my place to go every time.

1 /5 Hailey Denton: I got my nails done on this past Thursday (now it’s Wednesday) and my nail already broke. Not an issue I thought as I could get it fixed. I called ahead to see if they had availability in 30 to get in right away I was told yes so I came right after I was cut from my job. I got here at 3:30 talked to someone and was told it would just be a couple minutes I sat for 30 minutes then someone else came and asked me what I had needed I’ve now talked to three people including my phone call and the last person walked away and sat on their phone once I had just explained what I needed fixed. I finally got in after 40 minutes just to be told it’ll be $10 on top of that they were expecting me to tip again on top of charge for the one nail fix. Normally I would be okay with this however I had already paid $70 for this set and I left my nail lady $10 since she did an amazing job. I loved coming here but I no longer will be after this experience. Adding before pictures of my nails and then when it broke. (Update 3/17/23) it is now two weeks after I got my nails done here and I had another nail break.
