4 /5 Amelia: This large church provides both contemporary and traditional services. Expect a handful of songs followed by a request for your contact information and a voluntary money offering. The sermon is the last portion of the service. Sermons take scripture out of context to meet the needs of the message, but it appears to be done without intentional harm. The lead pastor is an above average speaker that is able to maintain the congregations interest. The congregation is majority white with a conservative political leaning. This church is impersonal with below average friendliness toward visitors, but provides quite a few educational groups, series, and meetups.

5 /5 Joan Sporny: This was a magnificent experience! The Peoria Symphony Orchestra asked the Apollo Chorus of Chicago to join them by performing together the wonderful oratorio by Handel, The Messiah. Apollo Chorus is well-known for their ability to perform this classical piece, much of it from memory. The entire hall was sold out, and the maestro asked us to add two sections of music to what is known as the "Christmas Messiah" as a "gift" to the orchestras audience. We then added "Worthy Is The Lamb" and the amen section to end the concert, to great appreciative applause. If asked, Im sure that The Apollo Chorus would make that long trip again!

5 /5 Rise Up Studios: Wonderful group of people and a very well informed pastor to share the message on Sunday. It was my first time visiting and the group was very welcoming.

4 /5 Riley: This church gives decent sermons but it’s right wing, traditional, and has kind of a weird vibe

5 /5 Cheri Brooksbank: We have only been at the church for around 4 months but feel so at home. We attended a couple of church services here before deciding to find a Sunday school class to attend. The person at the welcome center asked about our preferences and suggested a class to try. She told us that if it wasnt a good fit that there were other classes available and she would be happy to show us where they were located. We attended the class she suggested and were welcomed by a great couple. We immediately knew we would not switch to a different class. We were invited to attend this couples Wednesday night small group and found it to be just what we were needed. They have a dinner on Wednesday evenings and it is always great food. In our small Wednesday night group we discuss the previous Sundays sermon. It is good to get other peoples perspective on the sermon and to gain new insight into the sermon. We are becoming members and are excited about serving in the many areas of the church. If you are looking for a church home I invite you to come and visit Grace Presbyterian Church.
