5 /5 Ruby Peary: St. Paul is a loving church with a loving Pastor and First Lady who love their members. I can feel the presence of God when I walk in. The people always greet you with a smile, hug, hand shake, and encouragement. You will always find someone who may not act in a Christian manner but dont let them stop you from coming. That is the enemys strategy to keep you away. If you truly know who you are in Christ Jesus nothing will stop you from coming to the house of God.

1 /5 ThatGirlLexee: My grandfather was a Christian man. In his deathbed he spoke his peace with God. Many times in his last years he talked to pastor Hubbard, but when he died he was denied a funeral at this church. After that, I continued to go to this church on occasion, but I realized what it really was. This church is not for us to come as we are. They gossip and eye down people for how they dress. They have told people apart of the church to leave because they didnt fit "Good Christian" behavior, but to that I say your hats are not that big and your Sunday best is not that great. I am not from Peoria. I come to visit family. I live in a six bedroom mansion and I read Aristotle for fun. I speak three langauges, and a virgin in my twenties. That is not what makes me better than those who judge at the church. What makes me better is how I act as a child of god. How I spread his message. How I love my brothers and sisters in their worst scenarios even if no one is watching. And I love the rhetoric in how pastor Hubbard speaks giving the beautiful message of god, but it does not make up for the sins of the church. Still, I know when it is my dying day, I will meet my sins and have them washed away by god. Could he really wash away yours?

5 /5 Tennille Crawford: I’ve been coming to St. Paul since 97, off and on to be honest. But I love my church. There are some people that might be unholy. News flash! That’s everywhere. If you think the devil stops at the door and be like I will be right here when you come out! No he is coming in with ya! The enemy is going to try to stray you away every chance he gets. The best thing to do is pray on how people might act. God wants you to talk to someone to help you bring a conversation to that person. If something is bothering you talk to someone about it. Don’t stop coming because of something the devil try to throw in your face. Continue to commune!

5 /5 Lois Herrod: I love the greeters from the parking lot and thru the entryway. The praise and worship is amazing!! The sermon is so profound and the scriptures are broken all the way down. The delivery of the word helps it to stick with me week after week helping me make it thru life trials day by day. I love the order of service and the consistency.

5 /5 Amelia: We visited on a Sunday morning service. The message was focused on practical application rather than historical or contextual. It was biblically sound. This church is very friendly. Expect, great choir singing, hugs, handshakes, and a vocal engaged participatory congregation. Baptist churches have loose customs or traditions between them so you can expect a few differences in how the service is run. For example, this church begins with song, then an offering, then a sermon, then prayer. Unlike Lutheran or Catholic churches, Baptist churches usually do not follow a litergy.
