Chapelstreet Church - geneva

Matthew Perri Chapelstreet is my new home church. The preaching is great and the church body is great. They have a lot of opportunities to serve as well!

River City Church - st. charles

Leann Landstrom This is the only church we have found for 20 years that was not judge mental or had high expectations and performance. River City has In a safe place of refuge and healing after spiritual abuse in the church. It has been an incredible three years of growing in the Lord and understanding the full council of God. People are friendly, warm and authentic… No pretense at all! Super refreshing.

The Well

Bruce ONeal 5 Stars After losing my wife Kim unexpectedly three years ago, I was searching for more than just a place to go on Sundays—I was searching for healing, hope, and the presence of the Lord. We have been going to Willow Creek Church off and on, but when my sister-in-law Rita invited me to The Well in Geneva, I felt something I hadn’t in a long time: peace. From the very first time I walked through the doors, I was welcomed with open arms. The warmth, the authenticity, and the presence of God in that place are undeniable. My brother-in-law Keith is on the worship team, and watching him use his gift for God adds a personal touch every week. Pastor Jerry is a blessing. His teaching is deeply rooted in Scripture, but also full of real-life wisdom and love. His wife Carrie sings on the worship team—her voice reminds me of Amy Grant, maybe even a little better. Her singing touches the soul. What truly amazes me is the worship itself. A few of the singers on the team could easily be gold-record artists, but they’ve chosen to pour out their talents right here for the glory of God. That kind of humility and heart is rare—and it brings tears to my eyes. Pastor Shannon also speaks with such passion and purpose, especially to the younger generation. It’s clear that this church is planting seeds of faith in all ages. The Well Church has not only been a place of worship for me—it’s been a sanctuary. A place where I’ve felt God’s presence so clearly. A place that helped me through grief. A place that gave me family in my deepest sorrow. Rita, my sister-in-law, has walked with me in grief counseling and faith, and The Well has been her hands and feet. I now look forward to every Sunday. It’s close to home, but more than that—it feels like home. If you’re hurting, searching, or simply looking for a place where God’s love pours out freely, come to The Well. It may just change your life like it did mine.

Faith Lutheran Church - geneva

Chloe Trentham Such a good service! People were really nice here and super encouraging and helpful! If you want to know the truth about who God is and his role in your life, and who he says YOU are, or if you are just looking for a nice church then COME HERE! This is the place to go for all questions and needs! (I went to the Life Church service here but Ive heard that the Faith Lutheran service is just as vibrant with the power of God-- I got healed of a serious sinus problem Ive had for about 10 years when I went to this service, God is real and he does amazing things at these meetings and through the people here -- so many people got healed of all sort of diseases, injurys, sicknesses and pain here! Cant wait to see what else is going to happen next Sunday!)

Calvary Baptist Church - geneva

Steve Dover Pastor Rick is very knowledgeable in the truth. If you ask him a question, you will receive a truthful answer. His demeanor is calm, humble and assertive. The church considers itself non-religious; however, there is singing accompanied by piano, communion services, and adult baptisms where the saved are completely submerged in water. Members or this church are very friendly, and there are frequent gatherings outside of church. If stop in to witness a service, its probably a good idea to bring some cash for the collection plate. This way, you wont feel like a cheap ass for not realizing currency other than card swipes are still used.

St Marks Episcopal Church, Geneva

Mark Obermeyer 1 Our family has been at St Marks in Geneva Illinois long enough to be considered part of the family. We chose St Marks for a couple reasons. 1. Father Mark is at the top of his game ! Awesome, inspiring, in touch with what we need. 2. The people work to make the church a place to center your life around or just a part of the journey if you want. 3. The chapel 4. The teachings are a good blend of traditional and current thought. 5. The integration into the community. I hope you will church shop St. Marks if you are looking. We would be happy to talk to you and see if this is a new home for you. Families - The youth program is very good. My boys have gone on 3 mission trips and grown so much over the years in their faith. Fantastic Childrens program and Youth Program.
