1 /5 Joseph H.: AVOID ASPEN DENTAL IN FREEPORT. I walked in there after driving 40 miles (80 miles round trip) for an infected tooth that was leaking pus so bad it made my tongue numb. This place has ZERO understanding THAT NOT EVERYONE HAS INSURANCE.
I was willing to sign whatever TO SIMPLY GET THE INFECTED BROKEN TOOTH EXTRACTED. My budget was no more than $500.
I couldnt get any relief or understanding from these people. The dentist told the office girl to "give him a referral" while she literally ALMOST RAN AWAY. This was after all the x-rays and consultation. I explained three times to two different people that I am self-pay and dont have a lot of money. They ignored what I said.
A referral to an oral surgeon?
Talk about passing the buck.
Dear lady dentist: you completely screwed up when you had an opportunity to display empathy and humanity. Ya blew it. I wasnt asking for anything for free. You simply refused to address the immediate health issue while presenting me WITH A $4,000 QUOTE FOR MONEY I WILL NEVER HAVE FOR SERVICES THAT DONT ADDRESS THE ISSUE AT HAND: A BROKEN, INFECTED TOOTH IN MY HEAD.
I have had sepsis, am diabetic, and have heart disease. Having mouth and jaw infections isnt a good thing.
