Kevin A very attractive Irish Catholic Church opened 1883. Built in a Gothic architectural style. Brick exterior with a tall steeple, beautiful art glass windows, altar and vaulted ceiling. With an aisle on either side of the nave and stenciled medallions of saints in the clerestory. Though I am not positive, the pews appear to be original? Beautiful historic church in Bloomington, IL.

David Jones Great combo of bigger church resources with smaller church intimacy. Sermons are very practical. Attendees are friendly and come from diverse backgrounds. This church will support and challenge you. Weve searched many churches in Bloomington-Normal before settling on E-Free. 2020 Update: Sadly, we had to leave! The messages became too political. This was too much of a distraction. Hopefully he will (has?) return to the practical, Bible-centered preaching that attracted us in the first place. We loved the people and formed great relationships.

Joe Snell Pastor Glesnes sermons are super inspiring and St Johns Bible studies and activities are for all ages. I have been very impressed with the mens evening Bible study. Also, Im excited to hear that the finished renovation will be complete by Easter. St Johns Lutheran Church is a wonderful full of faith church, and Im very glad I became a member there

Kathy Rasch St Johns is welcoming and friendly. There are many ways you can learn, grow, make friends and serve others for all ages. There are a variety of worship styles with wonderful music. The pastors are supportive and there is a talented staff!

Laraine Jones I have never felt so genuinely welcome in a church! Honestly I look forward to going to services there. There is a real goid Heart of Addiction meeting that simply makes sense to me. The "Walk to Jeruselum" they have going on is so cool! Beautiful choir and the children are recognized and encouraged so well. Its simply a great congregation with alot of spirit. If you havent been there yet you really should come and just see for yourself! Even has a good food bank give away every Wed and they have a hot meal to go with it!
