Saint Patrick Catholic Church of Merna - Bloomington (IL)

Karen P I was apprehensive about attending a new church. Yet, I felt like I was among friends. Everyone was very friendly. I even attended a bible study the first Sunday. I had an immediate opportunity to sit down with the pastor. I truly believe the church is very much heart centered, and bible focused. The religious feel of the church is not over powering. You dont have to fit in. You are a part the moment you step in. Its really important to emphasize the importance of not judging a church because you have never heard of it or its not mega. I feel like a prospectors. I found a seemingly tiny nugget in a church family that has made me richer in so many ways. Thank you.

C. Mason Davis My friend, who is also my landlord and I visited this church for the first time today. Unlike in any other church in this area, we were welcomed by just about everybody in attendance and they all wanted to welcome us so wed feel welcome there. They treated us like family from the beginning. The music was traditional, which we favor very much, the pastor spoke very well and meaningfully in his message, and extremely knowledgeable about the Bible. After the service, we met a lot of people we didnt have the time to meet before the service, and feel like everyone cared that we came. We plan to go back, for sure, and are very excited to see what the future holds for us at Freedom Baptist Church. My Irish Setter service dog was loved by everyone without one question as to why he was at the service with me, and his tail didnt stop wagging the whole time. This church is full of love.

The pastor is amazing, incredibly gifted, and you can tell hes genuinely a man of God. I had such a great time and Ill definitely be going back. Tina Marshall Crossroads Chapel is a wonderful family and community church. It is a good Biblically based and Bible Word taught church and has been Blessed to be a Blessing to others.

Mark Blain A small town church with a big heart feel. All are welcome to this quaint church with a congregation that is continually growing so much that they have plans to add on to.the existing structure. If your looking for a new church home or just passing through stop by you will be welcomed with open arms.

Hudson Whittaker Pastor Scott is one of the smartest and kindest people I know. The community is incredible. Expository sermons. Early 2010s and older worship song selection. Free coffee. Great youth group and young adults programs.

Duncan Burnham I very much respect and admire this church and its mission to help the local homeless community. So many of us turn a blind eye to their plight and focus on our wallets instead but this church, its various ministers (especially Pastor Charlie) live to serve and help those in need with more than mere handouts. I am not sure how to do it but this church is the one to give donations to!
