Trevor Allen I have family in the Quad Cities but have not lived here since 1979. When I discovered Honey Creek Gems a few years ago while visiting, I enjoyed it immediately and the owner, Jimmy right off the start. He willingly shares information about rocks/minerals, methods, and can tell a funny story. I try to visit his shop each time Im in the Cities. Always has a nice assortment of rough stone for tumbling/slabbing, keeps a nice selection of machines available for purchase, and makes beautiful, high quality jewelery as well as crystals, spheres, cabochons, and carvings.

Nicolas Waldron Staff: this is the first time I had been here. The lady behind the counter was super nice, and knowledgeable. Very kid friendly. They even have a sitting area for the people drug their by their significant others. Building: the building is spacious. Plenty of area to move around. Bathrooms were clean. Products: products were good quality. A little more pricey than other local places. This shouldn’t discourage you though. This place is fun and should be visited by anyone into Chrystal’s, gems, healing, herbs, and other spiritual life style items. Parking: parking is kind of tight, but there are enough to go around. Star rating: 5 because of the quality of the items for sale, and the friendly staff. They need had fruit snacks for the kid. I have no problem coming back here every chance I get. Note: Jack is friendly and usually hangs out where you can pet him! Swing through, buy some sage or just stop to love on Jack. If this review helped, please hit the thumbs up and give me a follow.

Glen L. Well to tell anyone interested, the store is a true service to those that have a need for whatever that might be. I found the store and it’s owner through an actual recommendation from anther local competitor of theirs in the Davenport area. BTW I am 3 hours away from Davenport. The owner is real, fair and does not do like most others, “I’ll get back with you” type of attitude, etc. we made a deal, sold the stuff and got what I had no real idea it was worth without the time consuming and frustrating task of on-line selling that I won’t engage in again. If someone IMO gives the owner a bad rap, it’s because they had negativity from the start. He is no run around and spot on to complete a deal. Thanks, Glen.

Ian Hamilton I cant say enough about my experience with Brian at Rock Island Diamond Co. He created a custom engagement ring for my wife, and what he was able to accomplish with the loose diamonds I provided was truly spectacular. From the start, I put my trust in Brian to make the right design decisions and choose the right amount of materials to bring my vision to life. The final result exceeded all my expectations. My wife constantly gets comments about the rings unique design and style. Brian even added some personal touches that enhanced the clarity of the diamonds, making them truly "pop." The price was completely reasonable and on par with what youd find at a large jewelry store, but the difference is that my wife got exactly the ring she wanted. Even after 2.5 years of daily wear, the craftsmanship holds up beautifully, and the compliments keep coming.
