A 1 yr. single membership is just $25/mo or a family plan for $35/mo and includes full access to THREE floors of gym equipment, a sauna, AND includes unlimited tanning! You also have the option to purchase additional Jujitsu classes! On top of all of this, there is a nutrition store attached for all of your supplement and pre-workout needs. There isn’t a better gym or deal in the area.

1 /5 Laken Brion: Amazing gym and great atmosphere. However, 4 months into a 6 month commitment at $25 dollars a month, I inadvertently quit going as well as paying my monthly rate and to this exact date I owe the gym $651.96. I had always heard that the owners of the establishment had "no problem sending others to collections if they dont pay their dues...", or so I have heard from previous employees there. I understand that I didnt fully commit to the agreement and I apologize if I ended it too soon without notice, causing an inconvenience to you and the establishment...but after 5 years of not going to the gym, receiving countless debt collection calls and witnessing the original sum of $150 dollars ($25 a month for 6 months) turn into almost 5 times that amount; I truly hope that you would never do this to a customer that has been loyal for years, just for something unfortunate to happen in their lives that causes them to stop going (maybe an injury or condition that prevents them from doing any kind of physical activity) just for you to charge them substantial amounts of "fees" and selling it to the closest debt collection agency. Its obviously within their legal limits to do this; but it doesnt make it right.

5 /5 Aaron Gyrion: Any time I go to Assumption, IL and I need to train, I drive to Taylorville and always get a great workout in. John and his staff run a clean gym with many different options. If I lived closer I would be a member for sure, but I’ll have to settle for dropping in when I visit. Both his monthly memberships and his drop in rates are very affordable and fair! Highly recommend Lock Up Gym.

5 /5 J M: 24hr gym, all the weights and bars and machines you could ask for and then some. Clean and has friendly staff. Nutrition store attached to it, cheap clean tanning. Showers when covid doesn’t have them closed. Sauna and locker rooms. Separate weight room just for legs. Pretty awesome. Very affordable.
