5 /5 Keeko Villaveces: Found my husband and got married at St.Aelreds. I usually go to the 10:30pm sung mass on Sunday because I really like singing. There are also a variety of mass times available throughout the week. The hymns are more "traditional" than you may find at some churches. If "On Eagles Wings" and guitar/drums is more your style you probably wont find that here, but you may find some new songs to get stuck in your head. You will definitely find a whole community of friendly parishioners. There are a good combination of cradle Catholics, reverts, and converts. If you are curious about Catholicism this is a great church to get an introduction to the faith. The mass is reverent, and the community is devout. LOTS of kids and babies.

5 /5 Stephen Pritchett: Saint Aelred is the sort of parish where everyone knows everyone, and the parishioners stay in the parish hall for hours after Mass talking and eating. You might come for the 10:30 Sunday Mass and end up not leaving until 2:00 because you stayed for brunch and adult formation. The community is nice and tight-knit, and many people gather at the church for feast days that aren’t even holy days of obligation. The music is classic hymns (e.g. Let all Mortal Flesh Keep Silence and Love Divine, All Loves Excelling) and Gregorian chants translated into hieratic English. The Mass itself is in 16th century, Prayer Book English (“and with thy spirit” instead of “and with your spirit”) and is celebrated ad orientem. Communion is received on the tongue by intinction. There is CCD and adult formation weekly after the principal Mass. I am happy to call it my parish. Edit: There are altar rails now!

5 /5 Rachael Hollifield: When I came back to the faith after being away for years, I immediately felt at home. The ordinariate version of the mass is beautiful and in my opinion more reverent. Come to the (now) 11 am Sung Mass to see the tradition, complete with the choir, altar servers and everyone in attendance who give of themselves in true worship! I can’t say enough about Father Tipton’s dedication to the church and his ability to lead the sheepfold.

5 /5 David Turner: The community at Saint Aelred Catholic Church is exemplary. I felt welcomed and the parishioners are a lovely bunch. I began my journey into the Catholic faith here. Father Tipton is extremely knowledgeable. Though I am not yet Catholic, he has given me wonderful counsel and has answered every question I have had about the faith, with sources to back it up. This parish is traditional in the best sense. The hymns are tried and true, the pews are filled with young families, the Mass is reverent, and you can feel the love of the Lord in the building. The parish has multiple community events throughout the year, and dinner is served after the 11AM Mass on Sundays. Fellowship and outreach are taken seriously. OCIA (RCIA) is informative, structured, and deep. As a pastors kid I was steeped in the Bible from a young age. Father Tiptons teaching style and the insight he provides in class has unlocked a deeper understanding of scripture and of the faith. I usually attend the 8AM Sunday Mass, as my schedule is usually loaded on weekends. The 11AM Sunday Mass is a must go! The High Sung Mass is beautiful and is the definition of reverent. Go, pay Saint Aelred Catholic Church a visit! Whether you be a Protestant, Cradle Catholic, or religiously unaffiliated, you will feel warmly welcomed at Saint Aelred Catholic Church.
