Gray Methodist
Hay Lily We did the drive through nativity scene here. It was worth the 45 mile drive. The line was long, but moved at a fair pace. We were greeted by Gidieons passing out Bibles which was a wonderful outreach. They didnt just shove in our faces, they explained who they were and asked if wed like one. Next, the kind folks brought delicious hot chocolate to our truck and and asked if wed like a cup. The actual scenes of the night of Jesus birth were beautifully portrayed. It was if youd been taken back to the actual time Mary gave birth in the manger. The visual and smells were transforming. Young and old alike were working in the city. A special touch was they included the empty tomb showing Jesus has beat the chains of death and offered us the same if we accept His love and follow Him. We enjoyed their presentation and you could tell hard work paid off!
