3 /5 AISHA THOMAS: I initially left a 5-star review because I believed the job was completed properly. However, within 2–3 days of picking up my vehicle, the check engine light came back on. I returned to the shop and was informed that I now needed to pay for replacement tubes—the same issue I initially brought the vehicle in for.
During my first visit, Nick advised that a cleaning would resolve the problem, so I went forward with that service and a diagnostic, which totaled around $300. When the issue persisted and I expressed my frustration, Nick agreed to charge me only half the cost (about $150) for the parts needed to replace the tubes. I appreciated that gesture and paid it.
Unfortunately, after all of this, the check engine light is still on. The last time I brought the car in, the service experience noticeably declined. I had left my vehicle there for two days and received no updates—I had to call in myself just to check on the status, which was concerning.
At this point, I’ve spent nearly $500 and still do not have a resolution. I was quoted an additional $500 for another possible issue, but I decided not to move forward, as I didn’t want to risk spending $1,000 with no guaranteed fix.
While I don’t think this is a bad shop, my overall experience lacked the thoroughness and follow-through I was hoping for. In hindsight, I feel that going directly to the dealership may have saved me from these repeated costs.
