Our tour guide, who was the associate minister, did an excellent job explaining the history behind this beautiful church and its congregation. Tours are normally at 11 am and 1 pm. The church website has more detailed information and you can purchase your tickets ahead of time online. The proceeds from the tickets go back to an amazing non profit that is associated with the church that supports job training and resources for those in need.

Orion Alford Good church to be a part of. Good congregation, minister, and sermons. The church is very open and welcoming to newcomers. This church could be considered a liberal church.

You will love the preachings of Dr. Rev. Christopher Pittman, Sr. Tours are given during the week and service is 11:00 am Sunday mornings.

Michael Lucas It was a very nice service topped off by Pastor Cam’s sermon that was fantastic! He has a wonderfully unique way of simplifying the word. It was our first time there as we just moved here from Michigan, but we have a family consensus that it will definitely not be our last! The people were so friendly and nice to us as strangers and minority’s and it felt genuine! We thank our friend Tommy from Two men and a mower for telling us about the church and we are very grateful! Looking forward to future fellowship in this truly blessed environment!!!

Alfreda Richardson Overcoming By Faith has been a staple in my life for a long time. Pastor Rick used to hold a service in the SSU theater when I was a student and now he still has a dynamic college ministry actually picking the students up and providing a pantry and a good Sunday meal. The children and youth ministry is amazing. My children love coming to church!

Shay H Today was my very first time coming to this church. I haven’t been to an actual church service since the beginning of the pandemic. But I must say the time I walked in the door there were nothing but smiles and greetings. I witnessed a baptism and the message gave a new perspective on life and the Word. Pastor Chris is amazing.
