You will love the preachings of Dr. Rev. Christopher Pittman, Sr. Tours are given during the week and service is 11:00 am Sunday mornings.

The church site which is located downtown in Yamacraw village, is the oldest parcel of land owned by Black people in the United States, as far as I know. Great preaching, singing, and spiritual services. Also, you can watch online via Facebook and YouTube. Check the church services out.

5 /5 Lavetta Kemper: My first visit to Savannah to celebrate my birthday. I Google places to visit/see while there and to my amazement they have the 1st African Baptist church in the country there. Because in all I do, I want to always honor,praise and glorify God so needless to say I visited with Pastor Tillman and his congregation and was blessed truly by the Youth choir, music ministry and the Word! It was more than just visiting a historical site! Beautiful edifice!

City Church Savannah

Dale Sherry Warm, wonderful people. Bible-based, honest teaching. Pastor Jim brings the word in all its weight. There is a well staffed childcare center, as well. No feeling of being pressured at all, just welcome there. Good free lattes and coffee. Music is current, very relevant, but excessively loud... But they do have earplugs for those who need them.

Tremont Temple Baptist Church

V Fulton Excellent service. On my first time visiting I was sincerely greeted by an usher outside who walked me through the front door and found me a comfortable seat. The building in spite of its large size was full of people enjoying the beautiful sound coming from the choir; just before the pastor came forward to preach. I could sense the love and family feel throughout the sanctuary. I will be visiting again!

Amber Cook Best Church around! Amazing service! Love the people and it truly feels like a family. Best way to learn about Gods word and what a relationship with Him means. The childrens church is awesome, the pastors and volunteers pour so much love and attention to the kids. It is a wonderful thing to see your child standing up front worshiping God with all of their heart

Christ Church Anglican

John Marshall Christ Church is in the Gulf Atlantic Diocese of the Anglican Church of North America (ACNA). First Anglican Church in Georgia. Great worship, friendly people, awesome ministries. Music is the best. Includes adult parish choir, choristers for children, folk group, compline choir, amazing hand bell choir, very talented Parish musicians, wonderful priests and deacons. Well worth the visit.

The Independent Presbyterian Church of Savannah

Alexander Kirkpatrick A good friend had a wedding here. Very nice venue. Sermon was sound as well. Beautiful building.
