1 /5 Denise Ugwumba: Each time i brush each day at 48yrs old now and see that wide space i have relived the day the dentist there( i was told he was the owners brother) pulled that tooth KNOWING AFTER VIEWING XRAYS which tooth was bothering me. Its been some years ago, but i was young and did not concider taking legal action against Jackson Dental. I was in PAIN so much PAIN til i could hardly focus on a daily basis. So i had FINALLY come up with money for the extraction of the tooth that had me in so much pain. I was yound with 2 toddlers, didnt have a sitter so they were there with me i had caught the city bus to get there. I signed in XRAYS were taken then the dentist came in and asked, "Which one do you want to get pulled?" I said this one pointing at the 4th top tooth on the left, he chuckled then said," Oh, this the one you want pulled? Are you sure you want me to pull this tooth?" I said yes it hurt so bad. He said "Ok". He struggled!! Twisted, his whole arm turned twisted his body language was like he was really struggling and looked at me off and on with several pauses like he was criticizing me in his mind! It felt humiliating ! When he finally got it out he tossed the tool and tooth aside walked out saying "SH*T!" having the assistant to do the rest. She dressed it but by morning it was infected. I went to Memorial Hospital and they gave me antibiotics. I HAVE NEVER EVER went to them EVER again. Later on some months later i end up getting the tooth pulled by another dentist i found out that the tooth he pulled WAS HEALTHY!!!! Thats why i continued to have the same issues after the meds wore off that the hospital gave me. Thats why he asked me repeatedly if i want that one pulled. He knew from the xrays which one was the real problem. Now i have been living with a wide gap that i have to spend a few thousands on to have corrected! As ive aged my lip on that side has no support in that area. I have never ever stepped foot in that dentist office again and made sure that my grandchildren and children have not either. I am only 48, however i should not have gone through that! As i have changed over the years my fang tooth beide it remained push forward how he left it i assumed from him struggling to remove a healthy tooth. When i get his name i will be back here to edit this review! Sir you did me dirty, a young struggling mother i was at the time. I NEVER EVER forgot. If not for the laws i would SUE YOU NOW. For the record, back then i was not married into the Ugwumba family. Ive been married since Dec. 4, 2018 in the state of Townsend, Maryland.
