1 /5 Lucy Q: This church recently denied financially helping a young domestic violence victim. Their vision states they offer “giftings”. No attempts were made to, at the least, start a prayer request within the church or at most, request donations from its members. No financial statements are provided to the public, so the income and expenses the company receives and spends are UNNECESSARILY private. Does this church really have $0 to give as a tax exempt entity?
PLEASE RECONSIDER DONATING A PORTION OF YOUR DONATIONS TO THIS CHURCH TO OTHER NON PROFIT COMPANIES WHO WILL PROVIDE FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE TO THOSE IN TRUE NEED AND ALSO PUBLISH THEIR FINANCIALS TO ENSURE GOOD FAITH! (Salvation Army was able to assist this woman to a small degree but they are needing more funds for their “Project Share” to be able to further assist those with housing needs and they are a Christian organization! They also provide financial statements so you can see that their expenses exceed their income). It is one thing to support the church, it’s another to support a church who doesn’t support anyone but itself!
