Its beliefs and teachings are straightforward and clear, and come directly from the Bible, especially the "Good News" of the New Testament, as predicted in the Old Testament. The Church Family at Autumn Ridge is the most genuine, welcoming and supportive I have experienced since I was a child. Baptized as an infant and raised in the church, after I left my parents home, I drifted away from God and religion, and then spent almost 50 years in a "wilderness" of my own making. The clarity and power of the teachings at Autumn Ridge, and the sense of genuine caring and love that I experienced, resulted in a spiritual awakening and my getting baptized by immersion at the age of 76." ARCC is a growing church with a big heart for Jesus. Thoughtful worship with talented musicians who play and sing with passion. The message by Pastor Davis Lacey is always challenging, grace-filled and helpful to my life.

The Biblical teaching from Davis, the warm welcome we received, the small groups and Bible studies have been excellent. My husband and I hope more come, young and old, to join us. We loved the participation in the recent Christmas parade!

5 /5 Damon G.: As one of the many transplants heading towards north Georgia it was really important to my wife and I that we become part of church family in our new home. This seemed perfectly natural being that we were members of a church in Atlanta for many years and really loved the bonds of fellowship and friendship that are gained through small groups and regular attendance in service. When we arrived to Ellijay though, we never really found a church that seemed to fulfill us the way Buckhead Church did for us in Atlanta. So what did we do? We drove over 100 miles every weekend for months to continue attendance at Buckhead but it began to be un sustainable for us. Right around this same time we were introduced to Autumn Ridge Community Church (ARC as I call it) and we felt at home right away. For us it was really awesome to find a church in this area that had a plethora of younger families. This was especially important for us because we ourselves are a younger family and when you can come into fellowship with not just another believer, but also someone that is in the same stage of life as you, the bonds grow deeper faster. Needless to say my wife and I are so blessed to have found ARC and we are honored to call it home now. THANK YOU AUTUMN RIDGE!

5 /5 Bryan Bogue: Great church. Challenging, yet encouraging messages. Hospitable and kind to visitors. Excellent, secure childcare and biblical teaching for young children. Incorporates some very traditional elements and music, but done in a way that relates to modern issues and concerns.
