Whispering Pines Baptist Church - Sebring (FL)

Jan Fashing Was there to get Xmas for some kids. They have nothing under the tree. Not much left. Very nice giving people. Nice talk with the Preacher. I used some of my Bathroom floor repair money. Bought them an LED lite up Comet swing set. Hidden in neighbors barn. Floor is stable and can wait. The look on their little faces will be priceless.

Alien Guard A genuine church of locals and snowbirds with a wonderful community reach out, one of which is a cooperative of five organizations that feeds and houses those in need. The priest is a hardworking family man who makes house calls when asked. It is a church that welcomes your involvement. All of you.

Robin Buckner Im just in search of a great women of god who a few months back pit faith in mine and my fiances heart at the local humane society a few months back she gave my fiance her number but we have lost it weve been meaning to get into contact with her but havent been able too and really want to find this wonderful lady please if you have any info shes really been a blessing and would love to find her again I know shes from a church somewhere in sebring fl thank you god bless you

Taz Christiansen My friend and I stopped by unexpectedly while traveling through Sebring. My friends parents were married at St. Catherines in 1942. The parish office staff were AMAZINGLY gracious, knowledgeable and actually were able to provide my friend with a marriage certificate! They then allowed us to enter the church for some photos of the original church building and to say prayers. God Bless them!

Anna Pruett After retiring and moving to Florida from Pennsylvania three years ago I felt adrift and needed desperately to find a home with a community of Christians here in Sebring. I prefer a small church for many reasons, and at Atonement I have been welcomed and given the chance to use my talents (such as they are!) to benefit the church and the Community as a whole. For a small congregation which suffers from Snowbird-itis (we lose 50% of our congregation in the summer) we have a wonderful and patient musical director, Mary, who encourages those of us who love music to join our choir and we have an enthusiastic music group which is learning new music constantly. The people here are hard -working and friendly, and the pastor is a wonderful, nurturing and humble man. Pastor David preaches the Gospel and is always available to help us with all we need to thrive. I was very ill for a good part of last year. It was in great part, the prayers and kindness of the good people of Atonement Lutheran which helped to get me back on my feet. JoAnn Riley Love the people at Greater Mt. Zion Church. The pastor and his family are amazing people. They are kindhearted and super sweet.

David Lester We visited the food bank on friday and it was a very pleasant experience. The fellowship was inviting and friendly.
