Becca Stegall Ive been part of FBC Jacksonville and its worship ministry now for almost 2 years, and I absolutely love it! Ive never been in a church that welcomed me quite like First Baptist has. On top of that, to be part of a worship ministry like this one has been such a blessing. The choir/orchestra is truly like a family, and the leadership is second-to-none. Every week, we are led in truth-filled, God-honoring worship and get to experience musical excellence at the same time. Im also involved with the Student Worship ministry, and its such a great opportunity for students to learn more about worship and have fun with music. If youre looking for a church home in the Jacksonville area, come visit First Baptist!

Have been visiting for a few months. We have been welcomed into a Sunday school class and have been really made to feel right at home.

hermit_artemis I love my church. I love the welcoming atmosphere and the fact that they are always improving, always looking for the best way to support the congregation as a whole. I love the holistic approach (relationships, finance, mental health, etc) and that we talk about "sensitive" topics that a lot of more traditional churches seem to avoid or gloss over. We are a flawed people facing issues that need to be discussed openly and honestly, and Freedom does that.
