1 /5 Yanire: Today l came in with my Mother who is 83 years old for an appointment we’ve had over two weeks in the St Augustine office. She has been feeling pain in her right shoulder for more than two weeks. From the moment we arrived at the office, it was an uncomfortable experience. I explained about my mother’s condition which impedes her from signing her own documents (tremors) and they were giving me a hard time for signing for her although she was next to me and she attempted to sign it and they could plainly see she was incapable of doing so. They then had me fill out the paperwork 3 times, during which the nurse who took us back and was supposed to take her vitals, was very rude to me. After all of this, she said that my mother couldn’t be seen today by the dr and that l would need to reschedule the appointment, which was absolutely senseless as I was not a walk in and, indeed, had an appointment. l had to ask for the manager at this point, and was finally seen. Really uncomfortable and difficult time at this office, especially with that nurse who was nasty, not good communication for someone dealing with the public.
