Natalia Zherdetsky I attended Sunday service while vacationing, It was one block from my hotel. I was warmly welcomed at the door & had a great cup of coffee. The worship was powerful, the message biblical & inspiring. It’s a very homey atmosphere with a memorable message. I enjoyed the service & if I lived in Jax I definitely would come back.

I love how welcoming Jax Church crazy family is. They are always there to answer questions and help lead others to Christ. hermit_artemis I love my church. I love the welcoming atmosphere and the fact that they are always improving, always looking for the best way to support the congregation as a whole. I love the holistic approach (relationships, finance, mental health, etc) and that we talk about "sensitive" topics that a lot of more traditional churches seem to avoid or gloss over. We are a flawed people facing issues that need to be discussed openly and honestly, and Freedom does that.

I have personally participated in the young adult group and a few of the home groups, and they have been instrumental in forming lasting friendships and deepening my faith. These groups provide a supportive space for individuals to connect, learn, and grow together in our faith. Furthermore, the engaging worship experiences at Awaken Church are truly uplifting and meaningful. The talented musicians and worship team create an atmosphere of heartfelt praise and worship, which allows attendees to connect with God in a powerful way. The messages delivered by the pastors are thought-provoking and relevant, providing spiritual nourishment and guidance for daily living.

Fit Emmett From the parking lot welcome team to the greeters inside, I felt really welcomed and I loved the service. This seems to be a ministry that goes above and beyond to create a welcoming community. We will be back next visit to Jacksonville!

Becca Stegall Ive been part of FBC Jacksonville and its worship ministry now for almost 2 years, and I absolutely love it! Ive never been in a church that welcomed me quite like First Baptist has. On top of that, to be part of a worship ministry like this one has been such a blessing. The choir/orchestra is truly like a family, and the leadership is second-to-none. Every week, we are led in truth-filled, God-honoring worship and get to experience musical excellence at the same time. Im also involved with the Student Worship ministry, and its such a great opportunity for students to learn more about worship and have fun with music. Bishop Thomas and family are so kind and compassionate about doing the work of the Lord and feeding the flock. Ive never been to a church that serve me a wholesome meal like what I receive at Open Arms. Im so grateful to God for leading me to Open Arms. TO GOD BE THE GLORY!
