The Church at Channelside - Tampa (FL)

5 /5 Madison Tyle: The Church at Channelside is truly such a special part of Tampa for me. Pastor John, his wife Shea, and all of the members at TCAC do a phenomenal job of fostering community. One thing I really love about the church is how they truly meet everyone where they are at. From the Alpha class that is geared towards new believers or non-believers with questions about faith to church membership and the CORE team for devoted Christian members who want to volunteer their time serving the community and the church family. I have found so much love and peach at the Church at Channelside! It is also right in the heart of the channelside area/Downtown Tampa, making it very easily accessible and walkable.

Ive had the opportunity to sit down with the pastor and leadership team of this church and they are an incredibly genuine and welcoming bunch. In addition to being a church that is focused on biblical values and teaching, Ive also admired the many ways that Ive seen members of this church out and about serving the community - from street cleanups to port support for tired and weary crew members, and everything in-between, this church really cares about our city and it shows!

5 /5 T B: When I moved to Tampa a few months ago, I really wanted to find a church that was easy to connect with and passionate about serving the community in impactful ways. From the start, this church welcomed me beyond what I expected. It was an instant genuine sense of home. Building relationships here has never felt like work, because everyone is actively and selflessly investing in each others’ lives. Growing with this church has been an incredible blessing.

5 /5 Paul Meeks: We were in Tampa during Easter (Did not realize it was so early this year - we are from Ohio) and we were looking for a Christian (Christ) based church. Holy Cow! We found the Church at Channelside in the Embassy Suites across from our hotel. What a welcoming group of Christian brothers and sisters - young, mid-life, and old. The message was all about Christ, in this case, about Peter and his take on the resurrection before and after. What was really great was how at the start, a young woman explained to everyone, in simple terms what Easter and the resurrection as about. The pastor gave a great sermon that really showed, through the eyes of Peter, how we are forgiven. I cannot say enough about this wonderful group of believers and the Holy Spirit working through them to deliver the message. Thank you, Church of Channelside, for delivering Gods word on this day of our Saviors rising. Your praise team sang the song "Jesus paid it all" and I will finish with these lyrics that they sang: "Oh praise the one who paid my debt. And praise this life up from the dead". May God continue to bless this community of believers.
