5 /5 Al Malik: When me and my wife moved to Jacksonville after we left the military, it felt as if we’d never find a church home. Then we came across Southpoint! After we came a few times we knew it was our church home. This church is on fire for Christ. The people are amazing, the life groups are engaging and my faith has grown exponentially since coming here. Highly recommend!

The sermons are deeply rooted in the gospel and focused on salvation, with teachings that are faithful to Scripture. Our daughter absolutely loves the children’s ministry, they’ve done a wonderful job creating a welcoming and engaging environment for her. She’s always excited to return, even throughout the week!

5 /5 Derek Farrow: I love my church and spiritual family here at Southpoint!! I was invited here for an Easter service 2 years ago (2023) with my wife and kids from my sister in law, I was an atheist curious in Christ. I was blown away by the worship, something about it just moved me and I didn’t know what it was (I know now it was the Holy Spirit) then came the preaching. I had never heard the gospel preached before and in such a bold and direct way, by the way it was feeling it was like the pastor was preaching to just me, like he knew my life and all my struggles and doubts. I felt the presence of the Lord and was so convicted. I cried multiple times during the service (luckily I wasn’t alone my wife was crying too lol) then the alter call came at the end and we both raised our hands and said the prayer of salvation and gave our lives to Jesus. That was 2 years ago and since then we’ve rarely missed a service and we’ve both grown so much spiritually due to Southpoint’s community of believers (we call it our spiritual family) being so encouraging and kind to us, getting plugged into Lifegroups and becoming members of the church. I’m so thankful for God saving us and that invite we accepted to Easter service. If you’re looking for a new home church, this is it. If you’re considering Jesus like I was, take the leap of faith! He’s waiting!

1 /5 Ian Potter: If you’re looking for a church that operates in the gifts of the spirit, look elsewhere. This is another con, similar to most churches. When the “greeter” purposely squeezes your hand as hard as he possibly can when you shake his hand.. you know what you’re dealing with. This man literally squeezed my hand as hard as he could. I was speaking to the tent outside and the ladies were quite lovely and very kind and he didn’t seem to fancy the attention he wasn’t getting. Pathetic. But.. considering how dead the church is, I’m not surprised by this weak behavior. The “Church” of Christ, was not meant to be this… Smoke and mirrors. All the appearance of holiness, yet driven by the almighty dollar and not almighty God. Waste of time. You’ll find Jesus faster in a trap house before you find Him here. Watered down sermon the pastor probably found on Google. Pathetic. It’s no wonder the world thinks Christianity is a joke. These are the morons representing Him.. the worst part is.. I met some really nice people there and they have no idea they’re wasting their time and efforts in a broken ministry. Shameful.

5 /5 Kevin Crum: Ive been attending Southpoint for over two years. Staff is always willing to help, security doesnt play games when it comes to the safety of the children or others. I feel safe, welcomed, and definitely feel God moving there. The negative reviews Ive read on here are pretty far fetched. Signs are posted no drinks in the auditorium. They offer sitting at the coffee shop if you wish to sip and listen. Children are not expected to be quiet in the main Sancturary, however please be curious of others. They will NOT ask you leave because of your baby making noises. I am a regular attender, and a volunteer and I have to say one visit is NOT going to show you everything a Church has to offer either. They gather so much money to help the city, missions trips, and those who need help its unreal. The staff is also very busy. It took a few weeks for the pastor to follow up with me after my first visit. But Ill tell you this, they didnt forget me either and always remember what weve talked about. They care. The Lord is definitely moving through Southpoint.
