Shrock Orthopedic Center and Walk-In Clinic - Fort Lauderdale (FL)

5 /5 Matt Filek: This is a excellent walk-in orthopedic facility, they did a really nice job aspirating a large amount of fluid off of my knee. Very clean, was seen quickly, and professional staff. For those who need aspiration, most of the immediate care clinics around here do not offer that, and this is a much better alternative than going to the emergency room.

1 /5 Danielle Lynch: I got an ACL reconstruction and meniscus knee surgery with Dr. Shrock. My nerve block wears off in two hours and I got out of surgery around 5 PM so I will have a lot of pain throughout the night. My Painkiller and inflammation prescription never got called in to the pharmacy. Dr. Shrocks office is closed and we left three voicemails for the "Doctor on call" and never heard back. As you can imagine, this is a clear representation of how disorganized Dr. Shrocks staff is And the care you will receive from them. Additionally, I had voiced that I would like to use my hamstring tissue in the initial Consultation. I had 2 failures with the allograft so i wanted to use autograft. Dr. Shrock said that he had experience with this told me that would be fine. When they called to confirm Autograph (my tendon) or allograft (dead persons tendon) I said autograph and hamstring. When I got to the medical center after they had my IV in and everything Im informed that Im getting a patellar tendon tissue instead of my hamstring. As you can tell the communication and organization for Dr. Shrocks office is not worth it. If I could go back, Id use a different doctor 100%.

1 /5 Elisiris Parada: Dr Shrock himself is an great doctor but his staff needs to be replaced everyone to the white big nurse to the entitled front desk and the one who answers the phone even when u have proof of ur back issues they want to make you feel like ur on drugs because you ask them for pain medications not only do you pay for services and get the run around but beyond disgusting how they treat you a girl name Dominique is very slick and nasty in the mouth I would hate to go to another doctor if they don’t fix there personnel attitudes it’s a shame Is not only about pain meds but how you are treated as person and they treat u as an object and when ur trying to book an appointment snappy attitudes as im bothering her when that’s her job! Then she stomps her way in the door .. I understand the law I work in the field but there is no professionalism when my situation is presented on the floor and getting called out on I thought is was a fight outside the room and the big nurse was talking about me that I had to intervene and present my case that I only received it once at the time of occurrence ! In fact is the doctor job to prescribe me not someone who don’t know my case nor down talk to me in any form ! Once again and respectfully your staff need to be more caring on this field and be more respectful. Thank you for your time

5 /5 Stephanie: I am eternally grateful for all the compassionate, patient and nice staff, nurses and doctors!!!! Words cannot express my gratitude. It is so clean with great equipment. I came in with so much agony and pain holding back tears from my knee pain. When I tell you I am thanking God above for finding them. After taking my xray & Doctor Jeff Alent took the extra process to do an ultrasound he discovered that I had so much fluid in my knee and drained it out along with the nice caring nurse Ms. Riley. I was in shock when they showed me after draining the fluid out of my knee. I instantly felt a major relief. Prior to that I was limbing, couldnt bend my knee nor stretch it. I also received the steroid shot which also was needed because I have preexisting medical conditions. Thank you for taking the ache and agony away. Update: Less than 3 weeks later, my medical conditions caused fluid build up again and I had to come back to this wonderful God sent clinic. The second time I was treated by the Physician Assistant Brittany Poole and another nice nurse name Alyssa which was so nice to let me squeeze her hand because once again, I had to get the fluid drained out. It was more painful this time but felt the same immediate relief afterwards. But this time the fluid color looked different. Brittany Poole reassured me that I did not have any infection. She also discussed with me about my xray I previously took. The xray showed behind my knee was a looseness in a tendon/ligament or muscle and that she would like for me to get a MRI done before administering anymore steroid shots which would also help determine any further treatment plan I would need to stop my fluid buildups and to repair the loose tendon/ligament/muscle behind my knee and to confirm if I have anywhere else had anything loosen around my entire knee. Every staff member makes you feel cared for and will not stop until they get to the source of your pain.
