5 /5 Julie K: Shai is THE best stylist in Broward hands down! Not only does he do exactly what you want, when allowed to do what he does as an artist, his work is second to none. Also, I think we all know how hard it is to find a good colorist. Shai is absolutely top tier. Consider yourself lucky to be in his chair! The other reviews here that are one star are ALL based on the front desk customer service which most definitely needs to be addressed, but is also in NO WAY A REFLECTION OF THE ARTISTS IN THIS long time Broward staple salon. Also, if you CHOOSE TO GET EXTENSIONS, you have to realize there IS a risk of some breakage. I went to one of the top extension stylists in NYC and literally half of my hair broke off over a few months. You need to be aware of the risks involved and not blame the stylist if your hair is affected because it likely WILL get a bit damaged. Apart from that, if you can get past a wait (even if you have a scheduled appointment), you will be so glad you did. Also, always remember, if you are having to wait for Shai, its because he is working hard to perfect the person before you. You also want the same special attention that they are getting, so be patient and be happy to know he will give you the same treatment. His prices are comparable to prices elsewhere. He may be slightly higher, but you are paying for his experience, expertise and BEAUTIFUL work. If you want to be a literal MASTERPIECE, go see Shai! He is worth every penny too.
