The Brown Box. We all look forward to what treasure the child has selected to become a topic relevant to their life & God. The kids feel valued in this unique interaction w/ the head pastor. Impressive how these kids truly do their best to grow in their faith too!
When I first attended, I was impacted by the stained glass in the sanctuary! Finally felt the reverence of being in a very special place, rather than the dark auditorium style of contemporary churches.
The band is remarkable and each member so talented. They write many of the songs we sing. The one we sing for communion is my favorite.
The congregation is friendly. Everyone is involved. Small groups, volunteering, missionary support, Ladies Brunches and seminars. Parents have lots of resources. The men I hear, have dinner together , pray together , volunteer on building projects. They even helped me move! Being a single woman on a tight budget, it really was a game changer experience, that this is how the family of Christ followers work.
