Reliance Church - St. Petersburg (FL)

NE We were new to the Church about 2 years ago. We heard one sermon from Pastor Chad and knew it was home. He is wonderful with the congregation, his teachings and just a nice human. We are thankful for all that he brings every Sunday to worship!

Sue Malmad Have been a member of St. Thomas for many years! It is simply a part of me! Have served on Vestry and various committees over time. The choir, directors, and all music truly wonderful! From Father Fleming early on in my time thru our current priests and assistants, each one has been truly extraordinary in the administration of the parish and serving the needs of individuals, groups, and the parish as a whole. Anyone looking for an Episcopal church home surely needs to visit St. Thomas in St. Petersburg, FL!

Rebecca Peterson We came to attend the 11 oclock service and found out that the service had been changed to 10 am. We were invited to attend the Appreciation Lunch they were having for their volunteers. It turned out to be a very enjoyable time and a great opportunity to see learn about all the activities of the church. We were very welcomed.

Walter Sackett Reliance Church feels like a second home for me and my family. The members are genuine, always have a smile on their faces, and always make me feel welcome. Me and my family have already made many friends at this church. Each time I come I always get something out of the service and you can tell God is moving in this church and using this church. My faith has definitely strengthened because of Reliance Church!

Wesley Curve I never attended a service there but it boarders a park I bring my dog too. The services there are GOOD I assume and CHRISTAIN in tone I would say. So in saying that if that fits your belief system as it does mine check it out

Kathryn Perry My wife and I have searched for a truly affirming and welcoming church for years, and we finally found this in Different Church. It is amazing to attend the services and see the diversity amongst the people who come together each Sunday. Our experiences in previous churches have been difficult and there were times when we nearly gave up, believing there was no church that existed where we could be our true selves and not feel ashamed. Not only is the music incredible, but each Sunday, we are moved by the message (or messages) of Pastor Hannah’s sermons. She breaths life back into us as the human beings we are by helping us to understand a perspective of the Bible and of worship that is not wrapped in alienation or condemnation but instead love, peace, acceptance and comfort. The only thing I wish for this church is for more members to join and experience all it has to offer. I look forward to each Sunday and am excited to continue to become a part of the Different Church family.

Con Fidential Beautiful church, choir is outstanding, really good homily’s, pastor, priest and deacon one of the best. The parishioners are warm and friendly. One of the best churches in the country.
