I came to Sam being referred by a friend and was extremely nervous as I had 3 mechanics that took advantage of me and my faith in mechanics have been restored with Sam. He’s beyond incredibly talented being a master mechanic with amazing communication skills as well. He explained every single detail and parts needed. 5 /5 Caitlin Longwell: I wanted to point out how fantastic Sam is and highlight the entire process of getting my car fixed here. My car was damaged intentionally, we aren’t sure why, and the Chevy dealership said that because it looked like someone maliciously tampered with my car that it wouldn’t be covered under warranty and it was going to cost over $500 to fix. Mind you, the part is smaller than my pinky finger and Advance sells them for $80 max, $25 min (insert eye roll here). ANYWAY, I called Sam at 4 on a Friday and he looked at it that day, asked me to bring it back at 8:30 AM on Saturday and he would fix it (the wait was because I needed the car that evening and because the engine was too hot; not because he couldn’t do it). On Saturday I was there bright and early and I was able to pick it back up around 10:40 AM. I was so stressed out about this with the dealer and the malicious intent and everything that I was crying and throwing up (at home of course) but Sam made the situation so much better for me. He treated me like a person and not just a dumb girl who doesn’t know cars. I felt safe and I never had the feeling he was swindling me. The price was reasonable for the work done and he explained everything from start to finish which I appreciated greatly! I have had to drive the car a good bit since the fix and it’s as if nothing happened in the first place. It operates beautifully and I couldn’t be happier! Thank you so much Sam/Quality Auto!

However, just the opposite occurred. Sam, the owner, not only gave me an excellent price, but went above and beyond to timely complete my repair to allow me to get back to work. The work was completed professionally, and I appreciated that there were no unnecessary upsells—just straightforward, honest service. The owner is ethical and clearly takes pride in doing the right thing, which isn’t always the case at other shops. He replaced my AC pressure switch sensor efficiently and had the right tools and knowledge to get it done quickly. Highly recommend!
